PTU:
The Govt. of Punjab set up PTU in 1977 through
a state legislative act and formed pharmacy, architecture
and hotel management colleges, where the students
are upgrading their professional skills. The university
started its distance education program in 2001
and enrolled around 20,000 students in very first
semester. The university focuses on emerging areas
of technology where there is huge job potential
in the emerging global technologies. For the same
the university has framed the state of the art
curriculum so that the students can have best
possible education. The university offers Diploma,
PG Diploma, B.Sc. & M.Sc. level courses through
